In addition to learning your chosen languages, the major is designed to help you appreciate and understand related cultures, values and institutions, including relevant aspects of literature, history, art and geography. The major in Foreign Languages requires the completion of ten courses.

Study Abroad Requirement for Foreign Languages Majors

All Foreign Languages majors are required to spend a semester abroad in an approved program of study or in one of the international internships sponsored by Stonehill College, and minors are encouraged to do the same.
