Commencement FAQs

How do I receive tickets for the Commencement Exercise?

  • Tickets will be available in April and graduates will be notified via email. Each graduate is required to pick up their tickets and invitations in person at the bookstore.

Are extra tickets available for Commencement?

  • Each graduate is given six tickets for the Commencement Exercises. If the ceremony is held outdoors there will be additional seating for non-ticket holders in the perimeter of the general seating area.  Extra tickets are not available for indoor seating due to building capacity and fire marshal regulations.
  • Guests are also invited to watch the ceremony on a large projection screen in Hemingway Theatre and classroom 101 in the Duffy Academic Center.

Are personalized announcements available?

  • Personalized graduation announcements are available through Jostens, Inc. for those who are interested. Please visit their website for ordering information: college.jostens.com
