Women's Leadership Summit

May 3, 2016

The recent Women’s Leadership Summit brought together 19 outstanding female leaders who shared lessons from their social justice and equality work that they’ve performed in neighborhoods and communities, both nationally and internationally. Dorothy Crevier ’18, one of several students who helped organize the Summit, left the event feeling empowered as she explains: “It all starts somewhere. Many times we are afraid to take the role of leader in our communities. Hearing these women’s stories showed me that if we do not take charge and get others involved in our fight then your fight can never grow and no change will come about.”
