Lambda Epsilon Sigma (LES) is Stonehill College’s academic honor society. The purpose of LES is to recognize outstanding students who have demonstrated an excitement for both learning and sharing their knowledge.
The LES membership is made up of juniors and seniors who have:
- Demonstrated academic excellence and a strong likelihood of graduating with at least a 3.50 GPA;
- Provided evidence of a thirst for knowledge that goes beyond the classroom into their extra-curricular activities;
- Contributed to the intellectual development of the Stonehill community; and
- Exhibited an ability to communicate their thoughts effectively.

Students should use our recommendation request form to request a faculty recommendation for membership in Lambda Epsilon Sigma.
Faculty should use our recommendation form to submit a recommendation in support of a student who intends to apply for membership in Lambda Epsilon Sigma.
