We are committed to ensuring that each student receives personalized assistance as they navigate the transfer application and enrollment process. The College has assembled a team of committed faculty and staff members who are available to answer any questions or concerns that you have at any stage of your transfer.

All transfer applicants are eligible to be considered for our merit scholarships, which range in value between $10,000 and $23,000 per year. We encourage you to explore our website and to reach out to us directly should you have any questions or concerns.

Other Visit Options

  • Transfer Interviews

Transfer Interviews are conducted by one of our highly trained student interviewers or an admission counselor. They are particularly helpful for students who wish to share information that might not be readily apparent on their application for admission. Duration: 30-45 minutes.

  • Campus Tour & Information Session

Information sessions are primarily intended for first-year applicants but give you an insider’s perspective and answers to all your questions. Immediately following the information session, you’ll take a campus tour for a more complete view of life and learning at Stonehill.

  • Campus Tour Only

If your time is limited, jump right in to a campus tour. Campus tours take an hour and 15 minutes, and are offered Monday through Friday.

Applying for Transfer Admission

The Common Application

The Common Application is an easy-to-use college application system. You’ll need to provide some basic information about yourself and your family; and some more detailed information about your education and your extracurricular activities.

The earlier that you submit your transfer application, the sooner the Office of Admission can contact you to let you know if pieces of your application are still missing. The earlier that your application is complete, the earlier you will receive an admission decision. Applications received after our application deadline will be reviewed on a space available basis.

  • Admission Application Priority Submission Dates

Fall Semester Transfer: April 1; Spring Semester Transfer: November 1

  • CSS PROFILE and FAFSA Financial Aid Filings

Fall Semester Transfer: April 1; Spring Semester Transfer: November 1

  • Decision Release Timeline

Admission decisions for transfer applicants will be released on a rolling basis as students complete their applications.

Financial Aid

Stonehill and the Office of Student Financial Services is committed to helping families navigate the financial aid process to ensure they make a four-year degree affordable.

  • How to Apply

Because there is great demand for financial aid, students must file a renewal Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) each year in order to continue receiving scholarships, grants, loans, and work study from Stonehill and government sources.

  • Cost of Attendance

An estimated Cost of Attendance provides students and parents with projected educational costs associated with full-time attendance for a one year period. Knowing the Cost of Attendance can help you budget and better plan the financing of your education.

  • Scholarships & Grants

Scholarships and grants (or “gift aid”) are financial aid awards that you don’t have to pay back. Some gift aid is awarded based on merit (the recognition of outstanding academic achievement), and some gift aid is awarded based on your financial need.
